So we’ve been procrastinating and almost forgot to blog about World Backup Day, which is today.

World Backup Day is an event to highlight to everyone about “the importance of data in our lives and the importance of regular backups.”  Now we know that all of our readers are tech savvy and understand the need for consistently backing up their data.However, just like we forgot that we wanted to take note of this event in our weekly blog, we also know that we aren’t always as good as we should be about securing our data against disasters.

World Backup Day serves as a reminder that,  no matter how grown up we are, sometimes we still forget to brush our teeth, look both ways when crossing the street, and never text while driving.  Take today as an opportunity to remind your clients, customers, and everyone within your organization that they shouldn’t forget the basics about the need to backup all their data.
